How do I set the clock on the my display?

To set the clock on your VoltBike display, please choose the instructions to match your bike display model. For the rear-hub bikes and Trio's, the 850C or 860C will be your screen type. For our mid-drive models like Venture and Enduro, read the instructions for the C18 screen.

For the 860C (control pad with a dedicated M button):

1. Double-press M to open the settings menu.
2. Scroll with + and - to Clock, then press M to select it.
3. Use + and - to change the hour. Press M to move to minutes, then seconds, then the date fields.
4. Press M to save each field as you go.
5. Scroll to Back, press M, then scroll to Exit and press M.

To switch 12-hour or 24-hour format on the 860C:
Double-press M, go to Display, then Clock. Scroll until you see the 24 hour option, press M (the title turns red), use + or - to choose 12 hour if you prefer, press M to save, then Back and Exit.

For the 850C (no separate M button on the pad):

The power/mode button in the middle of the pad is used instead of M.
1. Double-press the power/mode button to open the settings menu.
2. Scroll with + and - to Clock, then press the power/mode button to select it.
3. Use + and - to set the hour. Press power/mode to advance to minutes, seconds, and date.
4. Press power/mode to save.
5. Scroll to Back, confirm with power/mode, then Exit the same way.

12/24-hour format on the 850C follows the same path (Display then Clock) using power/mode to enter and confirm.

If the clock clears every time you turn the bike off, the small backup cell inside the display needs a full charge:
- Set Auto-Off to Off in the same settings menu and save.
- Leave the display powered on while the main battery charges fully (overnight works well).
- Afterward set Auto-Off back to 5 min, save, then set the clock again.

For Bafang C18 Clock Setting

  1. Double-press the i button to open the settings menu.

  2. Use + / - to select Display setting, then press i.

  3. Scroll with + / - to Set Clock, then press i.

  4. Set the 24-hour time digit-by-digit using + / - to choose numbers, pressing i after each digit to advance (Hour tens $\rightarrow$ Hour units $\rightarrow$ Minute tens $\rightarrow$ Minute units).

  5. Press i after the last digit to save.

  6. Double-press i (or navigate to BACK $\rightarrow$ EXIT) to return to the main screen.

That should get the time and date sticking on either screen. Let us know if a step looks different on yours.
