Display clock is not functioning correctly
Voltbike models:
- 850C / 860C colour LCD screen
- No tools required
Clock shutdown
The small internal battery for some colour LCD screens may need initial charging to ensure the Clock and Date options function correctly. They may also need to be recharged periodically if the bike is not ridden or put in storage for extended periods of time.
Sympton: If the LCD screens internal clock stops when you power the bike off. The hour/min/date may be incorrect the next time your power your bike on.
Solution: To charge the small internal battery inside the LCD screen follow the steps below:
1. Double press M(860C) or POWER (850C) on the button pad to enter the menu
2. Scroll down to the Display submenu and press M / POWER to select.
3. Scroll down to the the Auto-Off function and press M / POWER to select.
Use the ( + ) or ( - ) buttons to view the options and select Off.
Press M / POWER to save the selection.
4. Fully charge the bikes battery (for 8 hrs minimum) The LCD screen display should remain turned on.
Caution! The motor can be activated while the screen is on.
5. later - Double press M / POWER on the button pad to enter the menu.
6. Scroll down to the Display submenu and press M / POWER to select.
7. Scroll down to the the Auto-Off function and use ( + ) or ( - ) to select 5min. Press M / POWER to save the selection
8. Scroll to the Clock function and press M / POWER to set the clock’s new correct time. Press ( + ) or ( - ) to change the hour/min/sec, press M to move between each of the units.
9. Press M / POWER to save the new time.
10. Scroll to Back then Exit to leave the screen menu.
Set to 12 or 24 hour clock (860C only) :
1. Double press M on the button pad to enter the menu
2. Scroll down to the Display submenu and press M
3. Scroll down to the Clock function and press M
4. Press ( + ) or ( - ) to view the option for 24 hour clock
5. Press M / POWER on the button pad and the option title will turn red
( 24 hour clock )
6. Press ( + ) or ( - ) to show option for the 12 hour clock
7. Press M to save the selection
8. Scroll to Back then Exit to leave the screen menu.
