What is the error code “01E” means?

- Faulty Display or Controller: The error could be due to a malfunction in either the display unit or the motor controller. This might require either the display or controller to be repaired or replaced.
- Software Glitch: Sometimes, the communication error can occur due to a software issue. A reset or firmware update for the motor or display may be needed to clear the error.
- Battery Issues: In some cases, if the battery is not providing power, it could interfere with the communication between the consistent components.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Check Wiring: Inspect all cables and connectors for any visible damage, loose connections, or corrosion. Make sure everything is securely plugged in.
- Reset the System: Turn off the bike and then turn it back on to see if the error clears. Some bikes may also have a reset procedure (like pressing a combination of buttons on the display).
- Update or Reinstall Firmware: If you have access to any firmware updates for your e-bike, it may help resolve any software-related issues.
