Yukon V2 Step-Thru

I bought this e-bike at the end of June and have been using it for my daily commute ever since. I'll share my personal experience with the bike so far.

Shipping: 5/5. The same day I completed my purchase, the order was shipped. I received a tracking number along with an estimated delivery date, and the package actually arrived one day earlier than expected!

Now, let's be honest here: I ride my e-bike like I stole it. I jump curbs, ride at maximum speed all the time, and rarely use pedal assist the way it's intended. Full throttle all the time!! I weigh about 200 pounds, and I've put over 700 km on the bike so far without any issues.

The brakes work great, the electronics have been reliable, and nothing has broken. The only problem I've had was losing a **** that secured the front light. I couldn't find a matching replacement in my spare hardware, so I contacted customer support to ask for the size and specifications of the **** so I could buy one locally. After a few messages to confirm exactly which **** I needed, they sent me replacement screws free of charge. Excellent customer service!

The e-bike can develop a wobble after landing a jump at higher speeds, but it's never felt out of control. I've found that if I squeeze the seat with my legs while standing on the pedals, the wobble stops almost immediately. Another option is to slow down until the bike stabilizes and then accelerate again. I've never experienced any wobble while riding on paved streets; it has only happened on rough or uneven terrain. I have both the front and rear racks installed, and even when carrying items on them, I haven't noticed any increase in wobble.

The multitool included with the e-bike is adequate for basic adjustments, but I highly recommend buying proper tools if you plan on doing your own maintenance. You'll save time, effort, and, in my case, quite a few swear words.

I live in Yellowknife, in Canada's North, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the bike performs during the winter months and in colder temperatures.

So far, I'm very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it.

It’s a great bike. But it is very fast. When I am on assist 1, it wants to bring me up to 20 km an hour and that is extremely fast especially when I’m just peddling around town. It would be nice if I could adjust the assistance so it’s at a lower speed. If I wanna go lower the 20 km I have to do it manually. And in some situations, the bike is too heavy to pedal manually.

Our first time buying e-bikes. The speed is great . No wobbles. We live in the kootenays, lots of up and downs at high grades. No problem, no complainants. Great bikes , and got them new customers as well.

I ordered two e-bikes at the end of March 2026. One of the bikes was back ordered and was supposed to ship at the end of April. I called voltbike at the first of May about my order and they told me the bikes were in stock and would ship within a few hours. They shipped on May 8th ….it is May 20th and I still haven’t received them.
