Can I put the front rack you sell on the Elegant model bike?
The VoltBike Elegant does not have the front headset bosses needed to mount a front rack, so the front rack cannot be installed on this model. This front rack is compatible only with the VoltBike Mariner and VoltBike Yukon.
What is the size of the frame and what is the recommended rider height for this bike?
The VoltBike Elegant has a 17" step-through frame and is recommended for riders 5'5" and above. The 26" tires make the bike easy to approach.
What is the average distance on a full charge for VoltBike Elegant?
The VoltBike Elegant V2 comes with a 17.5Ah Li-ion battery that provides between 70 to 90km range on a full charge when using pedal assist.
How do I turn the lights on?
Press and hold the + symbol on the keypad for a few seconds to turn the lights on or off. This works on all Voltbike models.
Is the battery and casing proprietary? Is it easy to replace?
The battery design we use is also adopted by other ebike manufacturers in North America. The factory that produces the battery is called Reention. You can purchase this battery from third party websites such as Amazon or eBay, or you can check the batteries we offer at the following link.
Is the pedal assist sensor a cadence sensor or a torque sensor?
Our hub drive electric bikes use a cadence sensor, while our mid drive ebikes use torque sensors instead.
Is the front headlight powered by the main bike battery or by external batteries?
The headlight on all of our electric bike models is powered by the main battery. On the Voltbike Elegant, the tail light is also powered by the main battery and serves as a brake light, activating whenever the brakes are engaged.
What e-bike class are your bikes?
Our bikes are Class two, motorized pedal assist with throttle.
Can this bike be used for off road?
Yes, absolutely. While we have some models that are more purpose-built for off-roading, such as the Yukon, Enduro, and Outback, the Bravo and Elegant will work off-road as well.

The Elegant has 9 levels of pedal assist. It also has 7 speed shift gearing.
