Read PostI bought an Outback and my wife bought a Yukon, love these bikes! They came as communicated, the accessories we bought are great, and the bikes work amazing!
Great service.
So as above, we absolutely love the Elegant and Outback bikes we recently bought from you. All of our friends and family have them and have all raved about not ony the bikes but also the experience when in the store to purchase. With that in mind, my wife and I were very excited to have that same in-store experience. Unfortunately, that is not what we received. Our salesman was very low energy, never smiled, and did not even say thank you after the $4,000+ sale was completed. He also did not have much knowledge, and when asked questions he couldn't answer, he tried to fumble his way through without asking anyone else for help. My wife and I are both in sales so this was a real turnoff. Examples of the questions we asked were why is the range on the regular battery listed as 60-80+, and due to the "+" sign, how much range could one expect if we always pedalled, the road was flat, etc. This was important to us as our previous E-bikes gave us 120K range with no problems. We also asked how much more range could one expect with the 25AH battery, and he didn't know. Again, we understand there are many factors that come into play that affect range, but at least ask someone else what their experience is, or do they have any anecdotal knowledge as to what other customer's have said they get. My wife asked what the differences were between the stepthrough models and all he said was "the others are more expensive". Well, what makes them more expensive? Perhaps she would have bought one if he had explained it properly. He also had the sale written up so fast that he never asked if we wanted any extras, like a front rack that we had to have written up on a seperate invoice. No note was made as to which bike this was to be installed on, so consequently it wasn't done and I had to install it myself. It wasn't difficult, but that isn't the point. We both left there very disappointed with the experience. It was a lot of money to spend and we expected much better.
Thank you for the opportunity to let you know, in hopes that it helps you to improve the customer experience in the future.
Sincerely,
Ron and Diane Argent
