One of the best

Comparing my outback with other models different brands, I would say it worth for every dollar I paid for. If you are looking for something very efficient with fair and reasonable price don’t go anywhere, Volt provides you with the best.

The whole family loves this bike!

We may just have to het a second one. For better visibility we wish we had purchased the outer mirror rather than the one that installs closer in.

Great quality, great value!

I bought the Outback with the Mega 25 ah battery, total no brainer if you are a bigger person and want the best range. Exceptional value with their standard components. It is a tall frame, I am 5 11 and it just fits me when standing over the bike. Solidly built, but the bike is heavy, especially with the larger battery. The bike is comfortable and the options of power assist settings are super flexible in supporting all types of riders. An extra gear or two and a water bottle mount would be a great addition, but all that said, I am thrilled with my purchase, I am sure you will be too.

Getting a charge out of Volt Bikes!

My wife purchased the Element and I went with the Outback. We are both very happy with the bikes. Joemar helped us and the service and product knowledge was outstanding.

Nice bike but I've been experiencing issues

So it's about 2 months I've had my outback. Overall I think it's a great bike, but I've been experiencing issues that undoubtedly hinders the complete experience with my purchase.

First off - this bike is noisy. I'm using it on light trails and it creaks from many different places, kickstand and rear bracket rattle with every bump, fork constantly squeaking, and cracking/popping from what I assume is the bottom bracket.

Aside from the noise, the other issues I've had are the fork doesn't retract all the way when there isn't any load, the brakes aren't the most responsive and most recently, the overall creaking has been getting louder and sounds like cracking/popping which seems to be coming from the bottom bracket. I have less than 200km on this 2 month old bike. It should be able to handle the light trail use it's being used for.

Support, while difficult to get a hold of (select sales when you call or you'll never get through) has been trying to help. There hasn't been any significant progress made with the issues after attempting some of the suggested fixes. It seems like they're not adequately staffed to handle post-sale service effectively which is a shame.

So now it's about 3 weeks I'm emailing / calling daily to try and solve my issues, and 3 weeks I haven't used my bike as the latest issue is concerning and I don't feel safe riding my bike in this condition. Since I don't live in BC and don't have any authorized repair shops near me, I'm struggling to find a shop that will service it and was even told that voltbike will most likely not pay for any labour costs.

Needless to say, my overall experience has been less than ideal. I purchased a new bike with the intent to have fun and ride it but I've unfortunately had to deal with many issues which I wouldn't have thought would have plagued a new bike which is set up and tested by the company.

I think a 3 star is fair, as I don't believe we've gotten into 2 star territory yet but I'm concerned about the longevity and post-warranty support with VB.

I've spent possibly more hours troubleshooting than riding at this point and I'm slowly starting to have post-purchase regret. If there was a possibility of return, I unfortunately most likely would have at this point.
