1) Have the bike delivered to a business address or make sure you are home and have no plans during the estimated arrival date. I did not receive a notification call and had to have my 80 year old father meet the delivery guy as I was an hour away when he called me to tell me he was at my house and no one was home to sign...
2) Carry an allen key that fits the bolt that secures the handlebar stem to the stearing column. It loosens 10 minutes into every ride.
3) The kick stand rattles over the slightest bump. I wrap a small bungee cord around it and the swing arm to prevent this.
4) Not sure about the quality of the battery. I ride the same trails pretty consistently (maintained municipal trails with varying grades) and followed the charging/storage instructions to the tee. However, the battery life by my estimations is about half of what it was last summer. Also, when the digital battery display gets to 50%, I now know that I have about 5 - 8 km of battery life left. I am very concerned that I will have to replace it next spring. This is a big, heavy bike without the electric assist and the suspension absorbs alot of peddling power when the battery is dead. Ask me how I know lol.

Out of the box I was impressed with the overall quality. The welds are Japanese manufacturing quality and the attention to detail is impressive. The brakes are strong, the Shimano gears are top notch and the suspension is adjustable and also of good quality. Overall, I guess you get what you pay for. The bike does suit my needs (casual rider out for some exercise and fresh air). I'm just very disappointed with the battery.
This is my second review after 557km. First off I do not baby this bike and have been having a blast. The only thing that has been an issue is the rear tire. Blew out on a down a rocky down hill. Waiting for the delivery of a foldable brand for easier repairs as these (I repeat) are near impossible to get off the rim. I have to carry with me a tack puller on rides as it is the only tool I have that will get the wire bead over the rim. So with this tool and standard tire levers it is possible to access the tube for repair..... with some muscle I must add. Here is something that is annoying. If I wear polorized glasses the screen is not visable unless I tilt my head. Perhaps a fix is possible for the maufactor of the screen to realign it from portrait to landscape to correct this. It's a shame because the display is so nice otherwise. In my last review I was picking on the fork. For road riding and relativly smooth terrian trails the fork is fine. Lubricating the sanction frequently helps to prevent sticking (silicone). Still have not found a fork maker with a air version for this bikes specs.
Now for the good stuff....I have not regreted buying this beast. I love riding it. It's not the perfect bike, but this thing rocks and continues to impress and makes me smile. Because of a heart attack at the end of ski season 2024 I have been struggling with the hills around here and this thing is a game changer. Zoom Zoom!!
Can you spell FUN? 2.0
i had to up the air pressure in the suspension for my weight a video on this would have been help full . With 200k on the bike im loving the full suspension i upgraded the seat to a ton bon. I am getting 80 to90k on a charge in hilly terrain at an average speed of 20kpa on and of road. Good power and maneuverability. Tires could be more aggressive, good bike for part time bush running
good
This bike deserves better than a 3 star review. It is a beast! The shipping debacle destroyed a good review.
Please fix your shipping explanations before another person has to deal with the hassles and extra costs after they hit the buy button.
The shipping spoiled all the excitement and joy this bike could have delivered, pun intended! The consolation gift was an acknowledgement in the right direction. The prompt customer service responses helped but that did not take the sting out of the extra cost and the several week delay.
The icing was a delivery person calling out of the blue with the invoice giving no warning, hey im at your property with a package, glad he waited 15mins so i could receive the package without further delay.
Left in the dark for 3 weeks after ordering. Sent an email for an inquiry, same day responce i was told it would ship at the end of the day. I waited another week. Sent another 2 inquiry emails. Got a call, apologizing about the delay. The battery was out of stock and had to wait to the end of august to get it. I opted to get a battery that was in stock. The bike arrived a week later. Be weary, no confirmation email to verify purchase until they ship your bike. Only through shop app you can view it.
