The VoltBike Bravo Core offers 120nm of torque, nearly double the rating of the regular Bravo e-bike. The 2023 edition of the Bravo Core comes upgraded with a SRAM X5 9 speed drivetrain for improved power transfer. Standard for the bike is a large 17.5Ah (with optional 19.6Ah upgrade) Li-ion battery with Samsung cells. Paired with powerful hydraulic brakes and large color LCD screen, Bravo Core offers some serious technology advancements. This nimble, lightweight e-bike is VoltBike's ultimate commuter ebike.

Overview

500W Power / 120Nm Torque

Would you like a little more? The M600 motor with 500 watts rated power, 120Nm of torque, just 3.7kg - always delivers top performance and is the first choice for modern eMTBs. With its triple sensor system (1 torque, 2 speed sensors) it reacts with lightning speed to your pedal-power input and delivers impressive support at all times. Voltbike Bravo Core is using mid-drive motor Bafang M600 48v 500w.

Samsung Battery

VoltBike Bravo Core is using 48v 17.5Ah (840Wh) battery pack with Samsung INR18650-35E cells. Samsung SDI’s superb cell balance technology contributes to the uniform quality of the packs and driving units, and ultimately to the quality of the e-bike. Samsung SDI’s Li-ion battery cells are preferred by high-end e-bike makers and companies that lead the e-bike market.

Extra Smooth Ride

Voltbike Bravo Core comes standard with lockout suspension Suntour XCT DS. Designed for quick release axles and bolt on axles. 135mm dropout, 32mm stanchions, 210mm steerer tube, 90mm travel. Weight is only 7lbs.

Sturdy Rear Rack

Standard for Bravo Core is an aluminum rear rack which can fit any load with ease up to 50lbs. Mounted directly on the rack is LED rear taillight with brake light functionality.

Hydraulic Stopping Power

Voltbike Bravo Core is using Tektro Auriga hydraulic front and rear disc brakes with 180mm rotors. Tektro Auriga comp disc brakes features an open system design using non-corrosive and environment-friendly mineral oil. Features dual piston design, melt forged caliper body with automatic positioning via front or rear adapters.

LCD Screen

Large practical display located in the middle of the handlebar offers real time stats such as speed, pedal assist level, battery capacity, distance traveled and current load. You can also charge your cell phone through the built-in USB connector. New for the display is the lighting sensor which atomically activates your lights when it gets dark.

SRAM X5 9 speed

Leveraging the legendary history of SRAM shifting, the X5 rear derailleur provides incredible shifting speed and precision EXACT ACTUATION™ technology eliminates slop and shifting variation.

Simple Controls

Our redesigned cockpit includes large easy to read LCD screen which shows all the important information like speed, battery level and current load. Get instant power with the integrated thumb throttle which activates when the speed is 8km/h or higher.

Always Visible

Bravo Core is equipped with a high lumen front LED light with a consistent, well-focused beam pattern. Rear LED light powered using the main battery pack. Features brake light functionality that is activated any time the brakes are applied. Reflective tire liner ensures you are visible from the side.

Bravo core

This is my second volt bike. My first volt was outback rear wheel drive. Put 10,000 km. On it so treated myself to a mid drive I’m really enjoying so far have 162 km on it. Love the fact that it has a throttle . I am 67 years young and having such a great bike helps me enjoy retirement.also live on Vancouver Island so am able to ride all year. This Bravo core also comes with fenders ,front and back lights and a back rack .Looked at a lot of new bikes and for the money could find a better deal then volt bike. Thanks guys

Well Done

I’m pleased with the performance from the bike so far. After 100 kilometres I haven’t noticed anything unpleasant; no rattles, the brakes are smooth, the shifter lands well provided it’s not under too much torque, the wheels are true. This bike is so much fun. The owners manual needs some correction.

Amazing bike!

I received it within 3 business days after ordering online! Easy to unbox and install. Amazing bike! Beautifully designed! Now my 25k commute (50k roundtrip) is a breeze. With my regular bike, it was a painfully long commute - up to 2 hours depending on wind. But now its only 50 mins and I'm not excessively tired/sore afterwards. I arrive at work/home feeling invigorated! I still get a workout too, just more of a cardio then endurance. The Bafang motor is powerful!

Bravo Core est un super vélo

C’est un vélo qui roule super bien. C’est très agréable, sur des distances 70/80 kilomètres, malgré le vent, les côtes, ce vélo Bravo Core m’a énormément surpris. Très silencieux, moteur très réactif, les changements de vitesse sont très faciles, je change souvent de vitesse, c’est fondamental, je m’ajuste constamment au changement de terrain, tout en gardant une cadence de 90 coups de pédale, j’ajuste le « pas » je passe à la vitesse inférieure dès que je sens que je force un peu trop, notamment dans une montée ou à contrevent. Ce que j’aime le plus de ce vélo, rouler 25/30 kh, c’est un bonheur pour moi car ce vélo Bravo Core car c’est un vélo « super roulant ». Je le recommande fortement.

Just received

I received it yesterday. It look's great cant wait to try it. I just had handle bars to install and bingo. Two thing though for a better service. First, delivery was poor. Delivery confusion between transport companies. It took a wile before having a call by YRC to ask me if I received my parcel. Find out that it was waiting here in Quebec 4 days before. Second the owners manual should have the right info for the HMI computer on the bike. I had to do some research to find the right model of computer to change the setting. I have the Bafang DC18 01 model not the one in the manual. Beside that I cant wait to try it out. Thank you.
