Below are some common questions about the VoltBike Trio and Trio V2 electric tricycles, designed to help you understand their features, performance, and support, all backed by VoltBike, a proud Canadian company.
Our very most common question is actually "Is the rear cargo basket and liner included?". Yes, it most certainly is! Here are some of the most common questions we get about our beloved Electric Tricycles.
1. What is the difference between the VoltBike Trio and Trio V2?
The Trio, priced at $2,499 CAD, comes with a 48V 20Ah Samsung Li-ion battery, offering up to 60 to 85+ km range. The Trio V2, at $2,799, features a dual-battery setup (20Ah internal + 15Ah external, totaling 35Ah!) for an extended range of over 140-160 km! (Prices may change due to sales and seasonal changes.)

2. Are the Trio and Trio V2 suitable for seniors with mobility issues?
Yes! Both models have a low 16" stand-over height for easy mounting and dismounting, perfect for those with limited mobility. The three-wheel design ensures stability, eliminating balance concerns, and the electric assist makes pedaling effortless, even on hills.
Of course, take care to get comfortable with the bike, as it's not about racing to your destination, but enjoying the journey.

Both models use a standard charger that plugs into a household outlet. A full charge takes 4-6 hours for the Trio’s 20Ah battery and about 4-5 hours for the Trio V2's secondary battery.
The Trio V2’s external battery is removable for convenient charging but both batteries can be charged on the bike itself. The Trio V2 has two batteries and both can be charged at the same time if you have two chargers. One charger is included with either Trio.
