This product is a slide-in style 48v 20Ah (960Wh) Li-ion battery , also known as a Silver Fish battery. It features a Battery Management System (BMS) and is constructed with Samsung cells arranged in series.

The battery pack delivers a robust 48V 20Ah output, ensuring long-lasting performance, safety, and reliability. This Silver Fish 48V battery is compatible with our Mariner Step-Thru, Urban Step-Thru, and Trio models.

*Please check the measurements on the battery you are looking to replace in order to ensure correct fitment. Please measure from the bottom of the battery to the center of the locking pin which holds the battery to the bike.

Will this battery fit my older Trio model?

There are two Silverfish battery sizes for Trio models. This is the taller version, which became standard on newer models after around 2021. If you have an older Trio, check your current battery's measurements (from bottom to center of locking pin) against this one before ordering. Contact Voltbike if you need the shorter version or a longer mounting rail.

It was Great to find a close Canadian supplier. The people are very nice . I was great to deal with them.

2-year Mariner needs battery

We have 2 Mariner bikes. One battery is dead so ordered a new one. New battery arrived but cannot mount it properly. Talked to Voltbike, now I need a longer bracket, it'll ship out tomorrow. Not sure why they didn't ship it with the battery. So we're waiting.

Just have problems tracking. Not very good at that

it works but its wrong size

I have the trio from the last model, bought around 2021. the silverfish for the older trio is shorter(there's 2 types and voltbike only carries one) so evidently they switched to the taller version some time after new model released. this is my 2nd battery bought beyond what came with the bike. the first one was the correct one. thought it would be the same again.

so i can't use the ignition key because the lock hole on the rail doesn't line up. a note Should be added to the product pages of the bike and battery. luckily i didn't get stranded and it worked slightly out of rail so i could turn the key. i guess now i got to find someone to cut the tip of rail off so i can use my new battery.

Power to Spare

Bought this new 20 Ah to replace the original (14 Ah?) battery on my Mariner - which was on it's last legs. Very pleased with my purchase. A 30 kilometre ride is a drop in the bucket to this powerful battery. It may be my imagination, but I think I'm getting a little better acceleration too!
