The Best-Selling VoltBike Accessories: Bags, Locks, Racks and More
Share
If you ride a VoltBike for errands, commuting or weekend trips, the bike is only half the story. The other half is how you carry your things, lock the bike up, and stay comfortable and visible. We went through the VoltBike accessories page and pulled together our best-selling items, with the details straight from each product page so you know what you are getting before you click “add to cart.”
A quick note before we start: prices below are in Canadian dollars and are what the product pages showed on October 2, 2026. Prices can change, and a few items are listed with a higher “regular” price crossed out, which we mention where it applies. Always check the product page for fit with your specific model.
1. Pannier Bag and Pannier Bag Set: carry it all, stay dry

The Pannier Bag is described on its page as one of our most popular accessories, and it is easy to see why. It is a 20-litre bag made from seam-welded, fully waterproof PVC, with a roll-top closure, reflective accents, and quick-release top hooks that let you hook it onto your bike rack and take it off again without fuss. A single bag is $90.
A few practical details from the product page:
- Size: 27 cm wide at the base, 30 cm wide at the top, 17 cm deep, and 40 to 50 cm tall.
- Off the bike: a removable shoulder strap is included, so it converts into a shoulder bag or satchel when you get to the office or the store.
- Battery-sized: the page says it is big enough to hold an e-bike battery.
- Fit: it fits all models in the VoltBike lineup except the Trio and Kodiak. It attaches to a bike rack, so your bike needs one.

What is the difference between the Pannier Bag and the Pannier Bag Set?
The Pannier Bag is one bag, at $90. The Pannier Bag Set is a separate product that comes with two pannier bags, a pair, at a discounted price. The bags are described the same way as the single bag above: same 20-litre capacity, same specs.
The price comparison is simple. Two single Pannier Bags would cost $180 (2 x C$90). The set is listed at $150, with a regular price of C$180 shown on the page, so you save $30.
Which one makes sense? If you only need one bag for your lunch or a change of clothes, the single Pannier Bag is the simple choice. If you want a bag on each side of the rack, the set is the better deal.
2. V-Link Folding Lock: a lock that packs down small

A good lock is the one you actually bring with you, and that is the idea behind the V-Link Folding Lock. The page calls it durable, flexible and compact. Special rivets connect six or eight steel bars (each 6 mm thick), and the whole thing folds down into a compact block, which makes it easier to carry than a rigid lock.
Here is some more detail:
- Two lengths: the shorter version has six steel bars and costs $85. The longer 1100 mm version has eight steel bars and costs $95. Pick the length from the “Length” option on the page.
- Paint-friendly: the steel bars have a plain black rubber coating that looks neat and helps prevent damage to your bicycle’s paintwork.

The longer version simply gives you more length to work with when you are locking up, while the shorter one is the lower-priced choice. If you want a rigid lock as well, see the U-Lock Vandal further down.
3. Front Rack: a flat platform for your cargo

Among the racks on the accessories page, the Front Rack ($60) is the one we would point most riders to first. It gives you a flat, open platform for all kinds of cargo, and you can attach your choice of cargo boxes or crates to suit what you carry.
- Material: aluminum with extra-large tubing.
- Load limit: up to 10 kg (22 lbs) of evenly distributed cargo.
- Mounting: mounts directly to the frame.
Check your model first. The product page says this rack is for the VoltBike Yukon, Bravo, Trio, Elegant, Kodiak and Mariner. If your bike is not on that list, contact the VoltBike team before ordering.
Baskets: Front and Rear
If you would rather toss things in than strap them down, baskets are a simple answer.

Front Basket: $79
One of our new accessories! It is crafted from metal tubing and carries up to 10 kg, with a built-in cup holder so your drink is right in front of you. It measures 13 inches wide, 11 inches long and 5 inches tall, and has a black anti-rust coating for all-weather use.
It mounts using the 4 bolts on the front of the bike’s frame (if your bike is missing them, contact VoltBike and they can include some in your order).
Heads up: some models, such as the Enduro, Outback, Outback V2, Yukon Elites and Venture Step-Thru, do not have a spot to mount it.

Rear Basket: $85
Listed at $85 (the page shows $99 crossed out). It is made from extra-wide tubing and is designed to carry up to 30 kg. It has the same black anti-rust coating, is compatible with most VoltBike models equipped with a standard rear rack, and the product page links to an installation guide.
Want both? The Bundle Boxes page lists a CargoMaster option, a rear and front cargo basket, for $149. Saves you some money, and you'll have plenty of room for your gear.
Security and safety extras

U-Lock Vandal: $75
For places with a higher risk of theft, the page describes the Vandal U-Lock as offering premium protection. The 13 mm shackle, the housing and the load-bearing parts of the locking mechanism are made of specially hardened steel, and the page says it cannot be bent open or attacked with ice spray. A protective vinyl coating helps keep your bike from getting scratched. The interior area of the lock is 9.5 inches long and 4.25 inches wide, so think about what you will lock to before you buy.

Half Face Helmet: $49
The page describes this as a DOT Approved Cruiser half face helmet with a visor for sunny days, known for being very comfortable. It comes in two sizes, Medium (58 cm) and Large (59 cm), with white and black options. To find your size, measure around your head with a tape measure, slightly above your ears and across the middle of your forehead, about 1 inch above your eyebrows. Take several measurements and choose the largest result.
Bags for the small stuff
Not everything needs a pannier. These smaller bags keep your phone, keys and tools close.

Top Tube Bag: $29
Starting at $29, with a deluxe version available . It is made from waterproof material and has a transparent touch-screen cover with a sun visor, so you can carry your phone, keys, tools and other small items.
Not compatible with the Yukon Step-Thru, Yukon V2 Step-Thru, Elegant, Elegant V2, Mariner Step-Thru, Mariner V2, Trio and Nitro.

Trunk Bag - Delux: $55
On sale now for just $55. Reflective strips help with visibility at night, and a carrying strap lets you carry it like a regular bag. The internal capacity is 8.3 litres (507 cubic inches), and it measures 13 inches long, 6.4 inches wide and 7.5 inches tall. Bungee style straps at the top to hold things like windbreaker jackets. Lots of storage space!

Seat Bag: $32
A slim 1-litre bag for a spare tube, keys or other valuables, adding storage right behind you. It is not compatible with the SR Suntour Suspension Seat Post; however the Seat Bag - Delux ($39) does work with that post with some modification.

Cell Phone Holder VeloPhone: $35
The VeloPhone is made from forged aluminum alloy and weighs just 170 g. Its adjustable clamp fits smartphones from 4.7 to 7.2 inches, and soft rubber padding protects your phone from scratches and absorbs vibrations. A really high quality mount.

External Clamp Mirror V2: C$35
Listed at C$35 (the page shows C$49 crossed out). It rotates a full 360 degrees with step clicks so you can set the angle you want, and the clamp fits anywhere along your handlebars. The page notes it gives good visibility without hanging off the end of the handlebar.

Dual-Side Internal Wedge Mirror: $35
This one mounts in the bar end of your handlebar and can be adjusted to any viewing angle. To install, remove the handlebar end-cap, pop the cap off the end of the mirror, position it and tighten. It fits handlebars with a 15 to 20 mm inside diameter. Not compatible with curved handlebars.
Not sure where to start?
If you are looking for a grab-and-go starting point, the Bundle Boxes page lists several themed sets. For example, the Commuter Kit ($219) lists a Pannier Bag, a V-Link Lock (Long), a BikeBac Tracker for Android and a Seat Bag Delux. Read the notes on that page about the tracker before you order.
