Having studied bike specs on your website before coming to your showroom I found that I knew more about the 2025 Venture than your salesman. I was told you didn’t have the Venture with the top bar when one was present in your showroom. Following purchase it has been difficult to get the correct manual for the lcd screen from Volt. Finally found it by googling another bike shop.

This is just a partial review as actually riding the back hasn't happened yet due to bad weather.

The order process went smooth. After putting in the order a confirmation email was received quickly explaining 1-2 business days until shipping. As it turned out, after 2 days the shipping confirmation was received and the next day the bike was delivered! Very smooth process.

Assembly was straightforward. Removing the bike from the box with ample packaging, attach the steering and install the pedals. Plenty instructions and there even is a video on the proper pedal install.

The bike computer is not too hard to figure out but the included documentation was for a different one, leaving you guess what some buttons do.

Test driving on a hilly gravel road showed the bike is responsive and easy to use. It is by no means a featherweight but it is also not too bulky and heavy. It is well balanced and handled better than I expected for type of road. The fat tires help no doubt. Climbing the hill was made much easier with the assist set to 1 and 2 (out of 5). Some work has to be done of course and that is the intent.

Now I want to go for a real bike ride, but the next day the snow came down in buckets and this repeats itself every few days :/ Not the bike's fault :)
All in all a great start, now waiting for the weather to turn. Looking forward to spring!

My first e-bike, loving it. I thought I would stress about the range but the more I ride it the less stress I feel.

Bike is amazing. Lots of power to spare, hills are a breeze (If you want them to be), and the thing goes super fast. Easy 45km/h. Wear PPE.

This is all assuming you can ride it. The rear wheel speed sensor magnet on the spoke was fastened to the wrong spoke when they sent it to me. Would never read properly. I had to move to another spoke and re-tighten. Worked for a little bit, but keeps coming loose. This is because they don't include the tool required to adjust it in the box. It uses a tamper-proof hex bit by the looks of it. Now I need to go buy a new bit set just to fix this one thing. I've managed to tighten it slightly with a torx bit, but it just starts stripping it before it fully tightens it. Super frustrating. I get a couple rides out of it and then I'm back to maintenance. Really sucks the fun out of your plans when this happens right before a bike ride.

Voltbike phone support was great in diagnosing the problem when I initially had issues with the motor not kicking in and telling me how to fix it, but the lack of necessary tool is just a pain in the butt.
