Email Support Is Non-Existent - Phone Them!

I am nearly 80 yo and hard of hearing, so I much prefer email over phone. I have submitted 4 emails requesting support over the past year. In spite of the fact that their website says "support is never more than an email or a phone call away. One of our team members will get back to you within 24 hours", none of my emails have ever received a response. Because of this lack of support I have already advised two friends who are looking for an ebike NOT to buy from Voltbike!

However, all that has changed since I phoned tech support and got Kenneth on the line. This man was AWESOME! He waited on the phone while I went out to the garage twice to take pictures of my trike to send to him. He diagnosed the issue and sent me a replacement sensor. My trike (TRIO) was under warranty, but I still had to pay for the shipping, and then I had to have Mike's Mobile Bike Repair come to my house to replace the sensor since the nearest repair centre is a couple of hours away, and I would have had to rent a truck to get it to them.

My opinion of Voltbike's support has improved, thanks entirely to Kenneth, however if you have a trike and it needs repair, you will have difficulty unless you can get a mobile bike service to come to you or you have a truck to transport it.

Bottom line to someone who might be considering buying from Voltbike - don't expect to hear back from them if you send an email. You will need to phone them.

Find out if you can get local service if you need it. They replaced my part under warranty, but I still had to pay for shipping of the part and labour to have it installed.

I received it fine

I did receive it fine ..I am a slow ass turtle on installing it ..my old one flipped over backwards seems to be working for now will be doing it soon but waiting as I have decided to replace bottom bracket and thinking of a new chain ring and free have b and chain sona complete drive train replacement after a winter of riding salt and sand ..( we have had snowy weather so putting old parts through the salted roads vs brand new parts ) thanks for being there Moe
