I love the bike but the seat is too big, I thought the big cushy one would be luxury, sadly it is not the case. I had the bike techs try to angle it and I still keep sliding forward. I would like to change the saddle and go with the regular saddle. If this is rectified I would be happy to resubmit review:)

The Performance
For a 16km daily commute in Surrey/Vancouver, this light is a significant upgrade over the stock version. It provides enough brightness to see potholes and debris on wet asphalt during dark, rainy mornings. It wires directly into the bike’s battery, so there is no need for separate charging.
The Fitment Issue: Mariner V2
There is a clear mechanical conflict between this light and the optional Front Rack on the Mariner V2: The Problem: The light is mounted in a position where it hits the bottom of the front rack whenever the suspension compresses.
The Solution: Because they bump into each other, the two accessories are essentially incompatible. I had to remove the front rack so the suspension could move freely without hitting the light.
Verdict
Pros: Great visibility for winter commuting; integrated power.
Cons: Physical conflict with the official front rack.
Final Word: If you want the 4000-lumen light on a Mariner V2, you likely won't be able to use the front rack.
This is an awesome and must-have upgrade for an e-bike and especially for Canadian winters when it dark early. Also great for visibility. Love the different intensity/brightness settings.
Suggestion to add a flashing/blinking setting would be nice.
Hi Curt!
Thank you for your review of our Add-ons: Starfire Twin Force. We are so glad to hear that you find it to be a great upgrade and a must-have for winter riding. We agree that it's perfect for staying visible during those dark Canadian evenings.
I believe it has the flashing/blinking setting already, you would just need to double tap your light button quickly and it should start flashing.

Having now ridden the bike fairly heavily for a few weeks, the frame is built like a tank, and the upgraded light is very bright. The box 4 drivetrain seems sturdy and fairly crisp, although like all mid-drive bikes, you really need to ensure you aren't not shifting under power. The power is great, and when geared correctly, you can make this heavy bike climb some pretty steep hills although likely with a little bit of pedal power thrown in.
Also, I found the company understanding, they had mis-labelled the weight rating of the bike rack on the website (now fixed), and did what they could to apologize.
I will say the two notable areas that should be improved on the base bike even if it costs a touch more is that the stock cassette was relatively easy to damage even when trying to be careful with shifting, and a chain guard up front would be great. They helped me out and I bought an upgraded cassette which they installed for me.
Its not advertised so I wasn't expecting it to be there, but it seems bafang does have a walk mode, and I would love that to be enabled too if it is possible (not sure it is).
Overall quite happy.
One of the best upgrade for the bike after the suspension seat post.
